2017-2018 TNReady Testing Schedule

Our students continue to study grade level curriculum as they prepare to show what they have learned on the upcoming TNReady assessments in English Language Arts (ELA), Science, Math, and Social Studies. The 2017-2018 testing window is April 17—May 4.  TNReady Testing Schedule This year, 3rd and 4th grade students will test on five different days and 5th-8th graders will test on six different days. Typically, two tests will be administered on a single day with a total testing time for both of 90-95 minutes. The time for both Science and Social Studies assessments for 3rd and 4th grade students has been cut in half this year to allow for more robust assessments in ELA. Please see the information that was sent home from your school to learn more about your child’s grade level testing schedule. The Tennessee Department of Education has posted resources on its web site that are designed to help foster a greater understanding about TNReady. These guides walk through many of the questions we have heard from parents and provide information about schedules, types of questions on TNReady, supports for students, ways parents can help their child prepare, and scoring.
