FSD Launches New App for Parents to Track Bus

Franklin Special District has partnered with BusRight to provide parents with an easy-to-use app that tracks their students' school buses in real time, directly from their phone. This partnership enhances safety, efficiency, and visibility in our student transportation program. You should have received an email invitation from BusRight to download the app (Google Play or Apple App Store).
 

What does this mean for parents? 
By using the email invitation link to download the app and register your account, you can: 
    •    view your child’s routes.
    •    switch routes to view morning and afternoon runs or routes for multiple children. 
    •    know where the bus is. 
    •    view the real-time ETA to your child’s stop. 
    •    receive notifications 
    •    manage notifications settings to receive alerts when your child’s bus starts its trip and arrives at its stop. 

How do parents get access to begin using the app? 
    •    Check your email to see if you received an invitation on August 1, 2025, to use the BusRight App. If not, see the steps below. (Note: It is helpful if parents/guardians already have a valid email in Skyward. Your school's front office can update your email in Skyward.)
    •    Call the FSD Transportation office at 615-790-4704 or email at schoolbus@fssd.org to request an email invitation to access the app.
